#Project365 9/52

Busy week for us, we had our Grandson from Tuesday afternoon and then overnight. He run us ragged!!! I don’t know where he gets his energy from and he had found his shouty voice too! He doesn’t have much of a vocabulary at the moment even though he’s just over two.  Their Doctor is not too concerned at the moment but is putting him forward for assesment as his Daddy (our son) was also slow speaking.

We went to the cinema on Wednesday to see Die Hard 5 – full of action and you have to suspend your brain somewhat!! Still it was good entertainment.

Also on Wednesday I recieved a lovely hamper of Italian goodies from a PR company in exchange for a blog post for Thomson Al Fresco. The post is in draft mode at the moment!

Thursday saw the arrival of £30 Sainsbury Vouchers from Valued Opinions for completing surveys. Don’t get your hopes up on earning mega bucks…that was a YEAR’s worth!!

On Friday Hubby was getting really anxious about his operation for a lump by his ear.  He’s had the lump for a few years and mentioned it to the doctor last year. He was referred to a Consultant who said it was a Pleomorphic Adenoma – a benign tumour on a salivary gland.  He had the op Friday afternoon and was given the ok to come home Saturday afternoon. The wound is not a pretty sight!!

On Saturday I started to put together my recipe for the Thomson’s post and made a lovely pasta sauce with tomato, bacon and mushrooms, served with garlic & basil pasta and crusty bread to soak up the sauce..mmm..

Check out my other Project 365 pictures so far.

wow super busy week for you then! I must of been living in a box as i love Die Hard but missed 5 being advertised! 😦

  2. grandchildren are much harder work than your own ever were, just cos it a different type of relationship. Im jealous of the italian hamper but look forward to the blog post(s) I refuse to do surveys for people like them, they make a huge amount from them and you make peanuts. .

  3. Lucky you to have a hamper and vouchers in one week. The pasta dish you cooked looks very appealing, glad all went well with your husband’s op and he’s on the mend.

My youngest is two and a half and never stops shouting! He just doesn’t seem to be able to speak at a normal noise level!

I find the same problem with surveys. I’ve given up doing some as the return was so small. Still nice to have a little extra to spend.

  7. Joanne Blunt says:

I’d love an Italian hamper. I’ve got a bit of a ‘thing’ for hampers. I don’t know why but I just love them.
